Originally from St. Louis, Missouri, Dr. Lee graduated with honors from Johns Hopkins University and was elected to the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society for academic excellence. He went on to earn his medical degree from Saint Louis University School of Medicine and completed his ophthalmology residency at the Saint Louis University Eye Institute, where he served as Chief Resident in his final year.
