Dr. Jacob Fassman is a board-certified foot and ankle surgeon dedicated to providing expert, compassionate care to patients of all ages in Colorado Springs and the surrounding communities. As a Diplomate of the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and a Certified Wound Care Specialist (CWS), Jacob Fassman brings advanced training and years of hands-on experience to every patient he treats.

Originally from the East Coast, Dr. Fassman dreamed of living in Colorado and is proud to now call it home. He earned his undergraduate degree from Ithaca College in New York and received his Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia. He then completed an intensive three-year residency in Reconstructive Foot and Ankle Surgery at Benedictine Hospital, where he served as Chief Resident.

Before joining Colorado Foot and Ankle, Dr. Jacob Fassman practiced in New Jersey, where he was an attending physician at Inspira Medical Center and served as the Medical Director of the Elmer Wound Care Center. He also trained surgical residents, reflecting his commitment to excellence in both clinical care and medical education.

Dr. Fassman’s clinical interests include biomechanics, pediatric foot conditions, diabetic foot care, custom orthotics, wound management, and sports-related foot and ankle injuries. Whether treating a young athlete, a patient with chronic diabetic foot issues, or someone recovering from an injury, Jacob Fassman provides personalized care tailored to each individual’s lifestyle and goals.

When he’s not in the clinic or operating room, Dr. Fassman enjoys all the outdoor adventures Colorado has to offer—from hiking and skiing to exploring the mountains with his family.
